My Professional Journey
I began my professional journey as a qualified Nursery Nurse and Montessori Nursery Teacher, establishing my own private nursery school in 1997.
Over the past 18 years, I have worked as a Therapeutic Parenting Consultant with foster carers and adoptive parents, providing training and mentoring in attachment issues and therapeutic parenting techniques. This experience deepened my understanding of the emotional needs of children and the importance of secure relationships in early development.
I went on to complete a foundation degree in Therapeutic Counselling. Through this training, I became passionate about the transformational power of counselling and the profound healing that can occur when someone feels truly heard and accepted within a therapeutic relationship.
Today, I run my own counselling practice and remain committed to my work as a parenting consultant. I continue with ongoing professional development and regularly attend training courses, workshops, and keep up to date with the latest research to ensure I offer the best possible support to my clients.
